treatise on the co-ficcup

The co-ficcup, also known as the simultaneous cough and hiccup is preferable to the hicc-cough.  The thing is the sequencing of the bodily glitches.

The hiccup on it’s own tends to leave a temporary lump of air in the throat.  if a cough presents itself at that moment, one pushes that giant bubble of air the wrong direction through the throat so it tends to end up being more of a hicc-cough-urp.  that’s not good.

the co-ficcup is much cooler even though it still hurts because you clear out the air with the cough portion and replenish it with the hiccup portion immediately.  Since we all know that hiccups are the result of a lack of oxygen, and the cough eliminates something air-wise - whammy you got the co-ficcup out of your system AND cured the hiccups at the same time.

This is why it’s preferable to have the co-ficcups.

oddly enough.

Mopsa went to the doctor to have the kind of day I had today.  I had a really productive, surly and altogether embarassing day today.  I’m sure that if I had a mirror in my cube, I’d have thrown up a little in my mouth at the sight of me.

Ever have a day where you feel gross? I have.  today.  I went for a walk and took another shower after work today.

Tomorrow I’m going to get to work 2 hours early just so I can leave earlier.

weird mood.

I’m in a bit of a weird mood.  people from my past have been contacting me.  very cool, yes.  bizarre, a little.  coming off of the seasonal affective disorder/cabin fever thing, and planning on making this a “new” year - and taking advantage of the renewing season, and there’s everyone reminding me of the person they knew.

The spring is finally showing it’s head - I’ve got this whole Master Gardener thing looming - volunteer time in the dirt making living things grow.  People having babies left and right (Aquarians and Pisces everywhere) and a whole slew of grown Aquarians and Pisces in my life now - I don’t think I ever met one of either before this year.

so many things I want to do - and have a plan for, and yet I’m holding back - like normal - for a reason that I justify as will power, maybe as playing it safe…

ok - I’m wigging out - I’ll get back to you.

1-2-3 and to the 4

I’m having a weird day, and I think I know why.  I just went to the breakfast spot in our town - listening to “The Chronic” on the way there, so I’m all in this Compton/LBC mode, and then I’m reading this quarterly newspaper from the Northhouse Folk School about making Swedish Potato Sausage.  So here’s an example of how my brain is working:

“how do I do Old-world Rosemailing on Norwegian Ale Bowls…I got a jimmy joke about your momma that you might not like…I heard she was a…”

…with 2 farmers talking about deals at the New Holland tractor dealerhip in town…

Like Nicolas Cage in ”The Weatherman” when he’s staring at the girls butt (I’d like to put my face right there) and he’s trying to remember to buy tartar sauce.
