Samuel Jackson gets the part.

here’s a brief scene from my new screenplay.  The set-up is a guy, probably Canadian, sitting in a chair, and Samuel Jackson aiming a large gun at his head:

SJ: “Say it again! Say ‘orientated’ one more time, motha fucka! I dare you, say it one more time!”

and… scene.

sunday thoughts

I’ve got 2 things - do you ever wish an old rock star could be young again?  I was just thinking that Perry Farrell from Janes Addiction and the remnants of Rage Against The Machine would have made a great band too.

had a pretty dull weekend except that T was sick and wanted to be near me the whole time.  She said something to me that I thought I’d never hear:

“please step away from the doughnuts.”

first time in my life i ever felt like Homer Simpson.

trapped like a trap in a trap.

I was reminded of the above Dorothy Parker quote this morning when T said, “I had such a bad headache last night that I dreamt that I was at work with a bad headache.”

she also said “holy icky” a couple days ago.  I love hearing people try to find words and succeeding in an unusual way.
